Boxes are slowly being unpacked. And Todd's racing to finish up the bookshelves, coming home from work and putting in a few more hours on them before bed. We had our first dinner at the house tonight. I meant to take a picture but didn't. Kids are kind of starting to get used to their rooms. Pray that they'll STAY IN BED, DARN IT. And I have been beyond exhausted. Not sure why I'm this tired. I mean, I know I should be tired, but this is crazy.
The shelves Todd built are looking amazing. He's done it 100 percent on his own, and I think they look pretty dang professional if you ask me. Can't wait to get the books up there.
The whole unit will eventually be this dark gray color. It's the same color that's in our bedroom and the kitchen. It looks almost like a Hunter green in the picture. It's not. It's "Gray Squirrel" from Martha Stewart. Love me some Martha. (Don't love the fingerprints all over the wonky TV. It's on swivel mount, so it was sitting out kind of funny at the moment I took this picture. Don't worry--it can straighten up. And we have Windex.)
These are the boxes of books. They will go on the shelves. We could start a small library.
